By departmental policy, you will not pass the course if you miss more than three times the number of weekly scheduled classes (i.e., more than six classes). The department does not distinguish between excused and unexcused absences.
Miss more than six classes for whatever reason and you will fail the course. Missing more than two classes will affect your grade adversely.
The grading scale is as follows:

Your signature on all work indicates understanding of and compliance with the Honor Code. Suspected violations of the Honor Code will be referred to the Honor Court; conviction of a violation will result in a a grade of F for the course.
