Do not expect to be reminded of these due dates in class. It is your responsibility to consult the syllabus regularly and to come prepared for class.

Response 2 Thomas Pynchon or Douglas Coupland is due Friday, February 13

Response 3 on Don DeLillo is due Friday, March 19

Response 4 on Cyberpunk is due Friday, April 16

Response 5 on Joanna Russ is due Monday, April 26

Format. In the top, left corner of the first page, type your name, my name, English 201 and "Essay #1." Hit "enter," and then center and bold your (clever) title. Double-space your essay. Use no larger than one-inch margins. Use New Courier font, 10 or 11 point. Staple your essay please! Only hard copies will be accepted.

Write out and sign the honor code on the last page. Your signature will represent your pledge that you have received suggestions for improvement only from fellow classmates--and only orally.
