Our film camp is a three week program during the Summer. Under the direction of professional film artists, camp participants have the opportunity to explore various forms of film, including scriptwriting, camera composition, acting, basic shot sequence, editing, and more. Students from the 2005 film camp took home first place awards in Best Films in the Elementary and Middle School Divisions at the Louisiana Film Festival. Through collaboration with film artists and students, participants create a meaningful, articulate five to ten minute film, which is presented to family and friends at the end of camp. We begin registration during the first week of June.
