Speaker and Abstract Information
History of the Oil Industry

     

 

We have excellent schedule of events which addresses the various historical aspects of the national and international petroleum industry.The oral presentations will be at 25-minute intervals, with 20-minute talks and 5 minutes of discussion. An overhead transparency projector, two 35-mm slide projectors, and one digital projector will be available to speakers. If you are using Powerpoint, please confirm with Mary whether you will use your own laptop or her system.

The deadline has passed for abstract submission.

Abstract format: TITLE (space and new line) Author's Name and Address (space and new line) Text of abstract, single-spaced, 12-point font (maximum 250 words; the abstract must be a Microsoft word document)

Submission by mail: Please forward the abstract on diskette, one paper copy, your mailing address, phone number and e-mail. State your preference as an oral paper or poster. E-mail submission: Please send your abstract as an attachment (not within the e-mail). In the e-mail, list your mailing address and phone number. State your preference as an oral paper or poster. Send the e-mail and attachment to Mary Barrett (mbarrett@centenary.edu).

Journal publication: All presenters will be asked to submit a paper to Oil-Industry History by May 30, 2003, for a special proceedings edition.
