Suggestions for using FactorWiz in instruction

1) Assign students the task of completing a questionnaire in such a manner that produces certain patterns of results.  For example, have students complete the same questionnaire 3 times:

    You can quickly download and analyze the data.  If you get the desired statistical results, they've got it!

2)  Have students develop short vignettes describing Danny, a high school student at a local school.  As part of the vignettes, have students vary Danny's socioeconomic position and school involvement.  The vignettes can be inserted in the HTML just like photographs are.  This provides an opportunity for students to work on operationalization of variables and crossed designs.
